Who are the Indigo Children?

The concept of Indigo Children was born from those who were able to see the colors of the human aura, which is our soul's signature represented as a frequency of light energy.  For those who are super psychic, this is how we recognize one another, or simply put, the reason for why we develop 'instant' likes or dislikes for others as we either consciously or subconsciously 'read' the aura's signature.  How often have you said: 'I really like the vibes I get from this person?'   Well, that is you reading someone's aura!

Indigos, as we term them today, have been incarnating on the planet for many centuries, however, it has only been in our recent human history that we have began to notice their influence.  In the 1960s it was the so-called 'flower-children' and the dawning of the Age of Aquarius that provided a glimpse into our Indigo future...  However by the end of 1967 and the 'Summer of Love' in San Francisco, the influence of drugs had heavily impeded the early Indigo consciousness - but nonetheless the 'New Age' had begun!

By the late 70s and early 80s it was observed that many of the children being born had an Indigo aura prominent among the other natural colors.  The colors in the aura reflect one's unique physical, emotional and mental well being; but over and above this, the dominant color represents your soul development or spiritual level of attainment.  This is something which is developed lifetime over lifetime and those with an Indigo aura illustrate something very special.

Indigo Children are one of the first generations which are fully connected to 'source' or the divine.  It may be within unconsciously to some - expressed as one or more of the characteristics typical of Indigo, such as their demand for truth and honesty in their transactions with self and others; or it may be fully manifest by those following their life's plan such as the energy-healer Adam: www.DreamHealer.com or the artwork of Akiane: www.Akiane.com.

"An Indigo Child is an individual who intuitively knows the truth in a situation and will follow their life's purpose to raise the vibration of the planet and advance human consciousness".  They are independent, knowing and will do their own thing in terms of education, career, relationships... and the list goes on.  They are creating anew for society - so don't expect them to follow in your footsteps.

One thing is for sure - Indigo Children are here to provide us all with a vision of our full potential as the super-natural human beings that we truly are. They are here to teach us with their insight, sensitivity and intuition and by doing so, they will help create a new world of existence in how we relate to each other and in the things we find important in our lives.

My mother once told me when she was pregnant, she met with a psychic and the psychic touched her stomach and according to my mom, had an astonished look on her face and said, " your child is not of this world, he is a starchild", I finally learned what this meant a couple years ago and was very touched, and finally understood why I was the way i was and act the way i do.  Being 26 now, I am beginning to finally learn to use these powers to my advantage and try to spread positivity and insight whenever I interact with others.  I love to use my sometimes overflowing empathy to connect with people around me.  I love college because I now have more freedom to express myself without fear of retribution, especially since I attend a small private college.  Last semester I made the President's List and was usually the most talkative and insightful student in my classes, receiving praise for it from my professors and classmates.  This acceptedness was lacking in my elementary and high school experiences.   I have always been drawn to the supernatural even as a young child, being fascinated with ghosts and UFO books like "Communion", which I read at about 6 years old.  I came up with the personal conclusion several years ago, even before I learned about Indigos, that the human race was created by a more intelligent, older, advanced race as a way of understanding themselves better, that basically what we humans think of as "aliens", are actually what we will collectively evolve to.  What is fascinating to me is that the stereotypical image of a "grey", has been drawn for thousands of years by many ancient civilizations, such as the Sumerians.  The large cranium and small mouth and ears indicates to me that normal verbal communication will become obsolete and the brain will need to grow larger to accommodate the advanced psychic functionings that will be the norm.  I have explained this theory to people before and probably about half of people, mostly people under the age of 50, seem to agree, (except those attached to a rigid belief system).  I have read about "ascension" a few weeks ago and definitely have felt and continue to feel these strange sensations involved.  I have increasingly been drawn to lighter, more nutritive, organic foods in the past few years, but find myself needing to eat a little meat sometimes out of economic necessity and convenience, working in a BBQ restaurant while I attend school.  I agree with the idea that alot of our nutrition will come from light and water as our bodies transform, but I cannot imagine what food will be like in the future, but look forward to finding out!

You don't need to have as much brain lobules as the greys have, even though there is a lot of people in the world developing their psychi abilities, you can have all your powers back and be capable of doing even more things than soulless individuals like the greys do. If you follow the Ascension path, when you're in 4th density you would be able to look at all directions at once and that is only one of the abilities you would have. If you would just get online and read this, you would realize it's not how you think it's gonna be. Hope you had realized this and also hope you're going through the Ascension process.

Help, I am having a brain storm and only two days ago I started to read the book I bought about indigo chidlren. I´ve always admired the 60´s generation (of my parents, uncles and aunts) and now I am going through a 60´s phase in which I am listening to 60´s music and reading about 60´s history. Then I find this site that said the 60´s generation was actually the one that paved the way for the indigos, more openly, due to the great percentage of indigo people within the boomers. I cannot stop thinking and making association. I gotta say, it all started with the Blue Jeans, the Blue Indigo Jeans of the rebels of rock´n roll and counter culture. It is all connected in a Jung way, indigo to stain the jeans and indigo children wearing these indigo clothes. We mirror our auras.

I cannot stop thinking Obama is a conceptual indigo. He once was involved with drugs. He is already Phosphorus in homeopathy, which is one of the best personalities in the homeopathy world, the one that has got a high similarity with indigo people. I believe the Indigos are already in power. I think Al Gore can be one indigo too. I have to control this brain storm, otherwise I will spend this day and the night writing here and I have just left my tasks that I had to do (such as solving the issues to make my clinic here in Rio and to stop working also in São Paulo; I also have to regularize voluntary work with homeopathy in a slum here in Rio, a dream I have that I feel is my mission, to heal the agressive boys that can go to drug traffic in the slums - it brings tears to my eyes when I think of that and my heart pounds to the extreme when I think of this - I already treat these agressive children with homeopahty with success and also the ADHD supposed ones) just because I cannot stop reading about indigos and making associations.
